Technique:
Multiple sonographic images of the abdomen were assessed for gray scale appearance and color doppler flow.


Findings:
The partially visualized pancreas is normal in appearance.

The liver is normal in echotexture and demonstrates no evidence of dilated intrahepatic ducts.

The gallbladder has no evidence of intraluminal echogenicity and the wall measures ____mm in diameter (< 3mm is normal). The common hepatic duct measures ____mm in diameter (< 6mm is normal).

The hepatic and portal veins demonstrate normal directional flow and spectral doppler waveform.

The kidneys and spleen are normal in appearance.

The visualized aorta and inferior vena cava are normal in appearance.
